Job Details: The FloatRegistration Clerkcovers vacancies, vacations, etc. in various departmentsat Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center including but not limited to: Central Registration, OttauquecheeHealth Center, Windsor Clinic, Professional Building,Podiatry (Wilder Office), OR, and ER. Greets, registers, and verifies demographic/insurance information forpatients within the department assigned; makes requested referral appointments and performs final insurance related duties that are requested during the patient s check-out after clinic visit has been completed; answers telephones; determines the nature of the patient s call and provides requested information or schedules an appointment for the patient to see the appropriate physician/ health care provider; verifies demographic and insurance information in accordance with policies and procedures. Prior experience in a medical setting preferred. Secretarial experience required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
