Job Details: Full time position offering 80 hours biweekly. Based mainly in Hanover, New Hampshire with occasional travel to locations in Windsor, Vermont and Woodstock, Vermont. Monitors schedules of staff and providers, makes requested referral appointments, performs all insurance related duties, schedules follow up visits and clinical studies requested by the provider, answers telephones, determines the nature of the patient s call and provides requested information, schedules appointments. Greets patients, completes all registration tasks in an accurate, efficient,timely and patient-friendlymanner, including but not limited to: demographics; collection, recording, scanning and verification of insurance; determination and collection of copayments, coinsurances and/or non-covered services; self-pay referrals to financial assistance resources; obtain valid signatures for any/all required paperwork (e.g. privacy notice, consent for treatment, DHMC, etc.). Works closely with Office Manager and Practice Manager to ensure that secretarial staff receive proper training, daily oversight and feedback. Provides backup to Office Manager during absences. Consistently demonstrates positive and constructive interactions with patients, co-workers, and all other internal and external customers, consistently participates as a positive and constructive team member, with flexibility in schedule and workload as needed, shares information and serves as a resource to co-workers with training, trouble-shooting and problem solving as needed. High School Diploma or the equivalent Prior secretarial experience in a medical setting preferred but willing to trainEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
